Abstract

Relevance and goals. The economic situation in the country makes it necessary to revise the plans for the development of industrial enterprises, one of the directions of which is participation in import substitution, covering the needs for goods and services. The key task is to diversify the activities of enterprises. Diversification of production has become an opportunity for enterprises to survive, but the measures implemented by the state do not motivate them enough. The weak link was the lack of a system to manage diversification. The aim of the study is to generalize the problems and identify possible models of business management in the direction of diversification of industrial organizations.
Materials and methods. Implementation of research objectives was achieved on the basis of the study of scientific sources of information in the field of methods and models of strategic and innovative management of organizations. The research methodology is based on the strategic management of economic systems at the level of a separate economic entity of industry.
Results. Indicated the need to intensify economic entities in the industrial sector to diversify activities in relation with changes in the international division of labor and the trends of economic development of Russia; identified major product benchmarks related to the adoption of the national projects and programs; the proposed hybrid control model of process-mi of diversification given the nature of the functions of management of an industrial enterprise.
Summary. Diversification of industrial enterprises it is necessary to focus on implementation of national projects and programmers of the Russian Federation, with the development of "industries of the future", regional programs of socio-economic development of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, modernization of production capacities of industrial enterprises, consumer sector, transport infrastructure, housing and communal services, growth of efficiency of agriculture and agribusiness. Management of product diversification in industry can be effectively built with the inclusion of the innovative potential of enterprises by using the identified management models in the management functions of economic entities for the purpose of diversification.
